NO MATTER THE PLANS OF THE DEVIL

A powerful prayer to be said with faith and passion for an answered prayer. 

No matter how fiercely wide the enemy will open his mouth against me, God will surely lead me to finish the year and cross me over to another year with better expectation in Jesus' name. I shut every evil mouth and sharp teeth that are open against me and to bite and swallow me.

No matter the plans of the devil concerning my life, the plans of God are greater and far better than the schemes of the devil against me.

No matter the kind of sicknesses that the devil may inflict me with, the Lord my God is my healer who will heal me from all infirmities in life.

It doesn't matter the kind of economic hardship and the naked poverty that has engulfed me, the blessings of the Lord will make me rich and I shall have enough food to spare and even give to the poor and needy in the society.

No matter the plans of the devil concerning my marriage, I shall have a blissful marriage according to the plans and purposes of God concerning my life and marriage.

It doesn't matter the kind of terrible conditions I am going through in life, one thing that cannot be disputed is no condition is permanent. Surely, no evil and wicked condition is permanent.

No matter the orchestrations of the devil to finish me, curtail my goals and thwart my destiny, God is still saying: I know the plans I have for you; they are thoughts of peace and not evil so that I will have an expected future.

No matter what may happen to me, I shall not be shaken or afraid become because the Lord is my strength and my helper. No evil shall befall me and my family. I am who God says I am but not according to the words of men or the predictions of my teachers, family and friends in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

BEAR THE RIGHT FRUIT

Bear the right fruit today. Jesus said every tree is recognized by its own fruits and not looks. This means the fruit is a symbolic representation of the potentials in the tree. And now the question is: Are the fruits you are bearing NOW reflecting your true potentials in life?

If you feel you have more potential deposits in you than what you do and what we see, then note that you might be living and operating below average. Jesus said: “…whoever believes in me will do what I’ve been doing and do even greater things than these”, John 14:12.

This means the average benchmark for measuring the fruitfulness of your potentials and the power deposited in you is to reach at least the level of Jesus Christ. This can only be attained by bearing the right fruit. 

Can we think and reflect here on how to bear the right fruit? There are more power and potentials lying dormant in you than you can ever imagine. Do not allow anything to hinder you from doing the best. The whole world awaits to hear your success story. If you don’t work on your potentials today and use the power given you, then you will have nothing to show tomorrow.

Remember, any time you find yourself explaining to people whom you think you are because their perceptions and comments about you do not reflect you, then note that you are exhibiting a different fruit and you are noted and recognized for the wrong thing. Let your works speak and represent your true self and potentials in life.

Think about it. 

Reflect on it.
And pass it on to a friend.

THE GREATEST CONFUSION - MY SECOND DREAM ABOUT RAPTURE

I freaked my eyes opened this morning only to realize that it was all another terrible dream about rapture. Within a twinkle of an eye, the trumpet sounded, calling all the righteous ones to join Christ Jesus in the sky and be sent away from this world of horrible pain and deception.

I was caught up in the spirit in a whirlwind and sent to many places to see how terrible it was to miss the rapture. As I moved around the principal streets of towns, I could visibly see many cars whose owners were caught away and what a huge traffic jam and confusion.

I saw families, friends and love ones running helter skelter in search of their missing relatives. One unfortunate thing was all communication network lines were jammed as everyone picked his or her phone to call to find out whether their friends, children, husbands and wives have been raptured away.

And there I saw many people who broke into uncontrollable tears for missing heaven. They were the most religious, attended church regularly, paid their tithes, fasted more than anyone else but had so many ugly and scaring skeletons in their cupboard. These were the calibre of Christians who live double lives.

All Tv and radio stations were all talking about it, from BBC, CNN, Aljazera to any other media platform. The social media were jammed. Surprisingly, most of the regular faces on Tv casting news were the very ones that came forward to break the news of rapture. I felt so bad when some top men of God were called to the Tv stations to be interviewed to tell the confused world the way forward after missing the rapture.

What amazed me so much was the greater number of Christians who could not be raptured. What is the worth of our suffering as Christians if we cannot make heaven but crave and indulge ourselves into secret sins. Another surprisingly and confusing issue was some of those regarded as not holy rather made it to heaven...

The greatest confusion is still fresh in my memories that I can hardly eat today but have a quick "U Turn" in my life and be conscious of all deeds whether public or secret.

Sunday will soon come again and many church auditoriums will be full of Christians who posed at holy but are merely a bunch of hypocrites who have come before God in white apparels, handkerchiefs, dance, sing and give big offerings but we are not ready to offer our lives totally to God.

If you know you are part of the hypocrites, speaking in big tongues and yet live dirty lives like unbelievers, then note that you are not deceiving anyone. And to Christians and Men of God, "The worst form of hypocrisy is telling someone not to do what we ourselves are guilty of".

This is a wake up call from our sinful and secret ways that do not please the Lord. If you have not surrended your life to Christ, it is still not late. Today, you make that decision now and make heaven tomorrow. May the Lord reveal such terrible incidents to you if you doubt.

A FULL PACKAGE

A few months ago, I entered a shop and saw a mobile phone that caught my attention and I wanted to buy it. The attendant said to me: "You can't buy only the phone. The customer that buys this tv set gets the phone, a DVD player and a free camera. It's a full package".

As Christians, we have a full package in the Holy Spirit. God said to Moses, I have appointed Bezalel "...and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with Skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of craft... Exodus 31:3

By virtue of being filled with the Holy Spirit, the free packages that come along are: 

1. Skill

2. Ability

3. Knowledge

Bezalel and Oholiab didn't get the kind of degree we have now, but the full package in the Holy Spirit equipped them to design stones and other artistic works to beautify the temple of God.

James 1:17 says, "if anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask God who gives freely without demanding for anything... With the Holy Spirit in you, you don't have to be out of job because you don't have skills, ability,.knowledge and wisdom...

Remember, It's a full package. Stop seeking only skills, ability and knowledge and neglecting the Holy Spirit. Today, we have a lot of skilled professionals but the problems of our generation are unfathomable... Professionally, you may have the skills but the ability and creativity to bring bear the usefulness of your skills is embedded in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. 

I have seen so many people without proper or with little formal education and they have excelled beyond the average graduate's performance. Stop seeking the benefits of the package when you can get everything for free. 

PRAYER

Dear Lord, fill me today with the Spirit of God and the fullness of the package.

NO MORE BAD NEWS

  

“And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored...” Numbers 13:33…. 

Have you ever heard the expression, “It is not what you said that matters but how you said it”?

Moses entrusted the life and destiny of 12 tribes into the hands of 12 highly responsible and respected leaders and sent them to the promise land to bring a report that would better the lives of their people. Unfortunately, their reports rather battered the destiny of an entire generation. That night, all the people raised their voices and wept loudly (14:1)

As leaders or individuals, the way we report an issue is very critical. It takes wisdom to break a bad news to have minimal effect. Instead of magnifying the bitter side of the story, magnify the better part of it.

The words that proceed out of your mouth have the power and the potential to thwart the destiny of your entire generation. Because of the bad report that was spread, life and destiny of innocent people came to a halt for 40 good years. 

What report or news do you give about yourself? How do you say it about people, your friends, colleagues, family and the likes? If you cannot say anything good today to better the life of someone, then don't talk at all. It is better to remain silent than to say it in the wrong way to destroy lives and rob an entire generation of their blessings. 

As you work today, know how to break some news to your spouse, customers, children, patients and people you come across. 

Remember, it’s not what you said but how you said it.

A FIXED VICTORY

A FIXED VICTORY - I JOHN 2:14 

...and you have overcome the evil one... (2:14)

Recently, a Ghanaian international was accused and suspended by FIFA for fixing international football matches for the Black Stars where victory for Ghanaians at the end of the full 90 minutes was already assured....

A single man was able to fix a victorious game for a whole nation but our God said, "rejoice young men because you have overcome the evil one".

The first step to walk in victory is to know that your victory against the devil is a fixed done deal by Christ Jesus on the cross. You enter the battle field of life just to technically knock-out the devil and claim your victory.

Don't leave in ignorance today. God has given you the power to trample over snakes and scorpions. Each morning, look at yourself in the mirror and declare victory before going out.

Claim your victory when situations raise their ugly heads...

Stay blessed beyond curse

PASSING THE TEST

Any time God wants to give you something, He will first test you to see the kind of heart you will receive it with. Like Moses, God will have to at times take some people from high level of royalty (position) and dignity into a state of nonentity to fully develop patience, humility and the right attitude for a higher altitude. 

Any time the worst stares you in the face, know that It's time to learn and pass the test, for the best is yet to come. 

God did not entrust a whole nation to a hot tempered Moses to lead until he passed the test of humility to be humble enough to lead even animals before leading human beings (people with intellect and right). If that position is keeping very long, then watch out. It may be that you have not finished you test yet. There is no promotion for the man who has not finished finished the test, certified and declared passed. 

Stop complaining when some people are giving you headaches as if they are "animals". If you can lead even "animals", then you can lead the people of God. If you haven't finished working on your character, then leadership crisis may blow away. 

After the hot tempered Moses passed the test, the Bible accounts of him as the meekest man on earth. Let Heaven endorse you as having passed and qualified for the great calling ahead. 

As a leader, don't run away from troublesome people. They serve as the litmus test to prove your preparedness and readiness for a higher calling...

DON'T BE DISTRACTED FROM HEARING FROM GOD

"He who hears from God should not be distracted and confused by the voice of man or the noise of the devil. Just be focused!" [Ernest K. Akorli, 2014]

If only you can hear from God for divine directions, then you don't have to be distracted and confused by the voice of man or the noise the devil is making. The voice of man could be encouraging and at the same time discouraging but the voice of God is enough to keep you going. The man who cannot hear from God is likely to distract and discourage you since he has not seen and understood what have experienced. 

The devil is there to make noise about all the threats or dangers on your way. He is there to give you all the detailed lists of all those who tried and failed. How about all who tried and went through terrible times or near death experiences?

Whether it’s the voice of man or the voice of the devil, you have a choice to make not to listen to the destructive statements that would derail you from your vision. Keep your focus and sojourn on.

ARE YOU TOO BUSY TO LISTEN TO GOD?

These days, Christians seem to be too busy to pray, fast, read the Bible and hear from God. The worst of it all is that, it seems God doesn't speak any more. The truth is that, He speaks every time but we are too busy to listen. 

We are always in a hurry to end the prayers and leave and never patient enough to hear his voice for divine directions. What is the joy in fasting and prayers for direction if you won't have time to listen to the instructions?
